Crypto Price Prediction Markets on HIP-4 Mainnet

HIP-4 crypto price markets turn a defined price condition into a bounded outcome share. Traders buy or sell a side on HyperCore’s central limit order book, then the winning side records a settlement value of 1 and the losing side records 0.

Purrdict discovers the live Hyperliquid mainnet catalog and displays each market’s question, expiry, target or bucket boundaries, sides, and order-book depth.

Verified Mainnet Snapshot: August 3, 2026

Purrdict queried Hyperliquid’s public mainnet outcomeMeta endpoint on August 3, 2026. The active response contained four recurring daily price binaries and one grouped BTC daily price-bucket question:

UnderlyingObserved market shapeObserved period
BTCRecurring price binary1 day
ETHRecurring price binary1 day
SOLRecurring price binary1 day
HYPERecurring price binary1 day
BTCThree named ranges plus fallback in a price-bucket question1 day

The active inventory can rotate or change after this snapshot. The live outcomeMeta response and Purrdict app are authoritative for what is tradeable now; this dated table is evidence, not a promise that the same contracts remain open indefinitely.

How Recurring Price Binaries Work

Each market is described by a structured string in HIP-4’s outcomeMeta:

class:priceBinary|underlying:BTC|expiry:20260804-0600|targetPrice:62809|period:1d

The fields identify the market class, underlying, UTC expiry, target price, and period. A new recurring round gets a new outcome identity even when its human-facing wording resembles the previous round.

At expiry, the outcome is resolved against its specified price condition. Public settledOutcome data can expose the settled fraction and recorded oracle-price detail after resolution. Settlement fills record the winning side at 1 and the losing side at 0, and current mainnet settlement fills credit USDC automatically without a separate claim step. Legacy testnet records may expose USDH.

Price-bucket questions use a related description with sorted thresholds. The thresholds divide the price line into named ranges, and exactly one intended range wins at ordinary resolution.

How Prices Are Quoted

Each binary outcome has two sides. A side offered at 0.65 is commonly read as roughly a 65% market-implied probability, but the number is still an order-book price.

  • A complete winning/losing pair has a combined gross settlement value of 1.
  • Executable Yes and No asks can add to more than 1 because both books have spread.
  • Executable bids can add to less than 1.
  • The price available for 1 share can differ from the average price available for 1,000 shares.

Inspect both price and depth before trading. A correct directional forecast can still lose money if the entry price is too high, the market is too thin to exit, or the written resolution condition differs from the headline.

Trading Mechanics

  • Market metadata: Read the live underlying, target or thresholds, expiry, and quote-token field.
  • Order format: Tick size and minimum shares depend on current pricing rules; integrations should compute them rather than hard-code old examples.
  • Execution: Limit and marketable orders fill against visible HyperCore liquidity.
  • Settlement: Automatic settlement fills record 1 for winners and 0 for losers; no normal claim step is required.
  • Network: Confirm mainnet or testnet before signing. Test funds have no monetary value.

Getting Started

  1. Open the Purrdict mainnet interface.
  2. Connect a compatible wallet and verify the network indicator.
  3. Choose a crypto outcome and read its complete target, expiry, and settlement condition.
  4. Inspect the spread and quantity available on both sides.
  5. Review the order quantity, expected execution range, maximum cost, and displayed fee.
  6. Sign the order and monitor the position until exit or automatic settlement.

For identifier math, market taxonomy, risks, and permissionless testnet creation, use the canonical HIP-4 prediction-market guide. For a dated activity archive rather than live execution data, see Purrdict’s HIP-4 market dataset.
